What is the Inbox?

The Inbox is where all your new tasks are collected.

These unplanned tasks, which are created in Akiflow or imported from your Integrations: import tasks & events, are separated from your schedule (Today page), so they won't impact what you already have planned.

<aside> 🔑 It's important to have a separate moment and view to plan your tasks and another one to focus on flowing through your scheduled activities.

Methodology

Check your Inbox a few times a day and plan the incoming tasks.How?

  1. Execute right away:

If a task takes less than 2 minutes to execute → Do it now and use the shortcut E to mark it as done

  1. Plan:

if it takes more time → Hit P and plan it or just drag and drop it to an open slot on your calendar.

You can either plan for a specific date, date&time or a more broad time frame like “This Week” “Next Month” and review your tasks while doing the Rituals and in the Upcoming Page.
